Day course in mindfulness and meditation Meditation is something anyone can learn and enjoy. Meditation is an exercise in experiencing life directly without the filter that our thoughts constitute. Mindfulness is developed through using meditation techniques that enhance our ability to be present here-and-now.
Lectures and book presentations Once a month we invite you to a Zen evening - lectures and presentations on various topics related to meditation, awareness and self-development. This is a good opportunity to stop and reflect. Socializing in Zen cafe after the lecture for personal meeting with speaker, book signing and good conversation.
First Saturday of each month Then you can hear Zen Band play spontaneous, improvised, jazz-inspired and meditative music in Zen cafe. All the music is being created there and then! Come and experience the magic atmosphere that occurs in the encounter between the musicians and the audience. You will also have meaninful meetings and conversations, and enjoy the best carrot cake that can be found in the Universe!
For beginners, intermediate and advanced students Yoga is for many people the first encounter with a meditative tradition and a more conscious relationship with their own body. Zen House has continous cooperation with various yoga schools offering courses and guidance for beginners, intermediate and advanced students in our beautiful meditation room.
